Thelma Dahle was born in Maitland, NSW, Australia
At a very early age She wanted to immortalize her mother’s face so she could remember her just as she was, this started her career as an artistHer ability to chase high profile people brought her to do life casts of some famous Australians from the 1930s to the 1970s.
Thelma was also able to reduce her life casts by using a pantograph to get an exact miniature copy.
